Laurel Levasheff, GCFP has been supporting individuals and groups to have more comfortable, active bodies, through the Feldenkrais Method of neuroplasticity, and motor re-education for fifteen years.
Born with scoliosis, twelve years in classical dance, (San Francisco Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet) supported her spine and developed a flexible resilient body even with Scoliosis. In University, the dean of her fine arts program suggested she practice Pilates Method for support and injury prevention. She certified In New York City, under Romana Kryzanowska (2001), predecessor to Joseph Pilates and began teaching therapeutic
Laurel was Introduced to the Feldenkrais Method of Neuromotor re-education, after sustaining a chronic structural injury, related to scoliosis while living and teaching in New Zealand. The lessons restored her to the feeling she had of being in her 9 year body again and with a newly realized refined attention, effortless action, and a fuller life. In 2006, she certified as a Feldenkrais® Teacher and Practitioner of Functional Integration, through Feldenkrais Guild of North America, at Berkeley, California.
Her practice involves one-on-one lessons with the focus on returning clients to natural, pain-free, functional movement, with fully supported movement and sensory therapies. Her clients include; people with scoliosis, professional musicians, athletes, stroke survivors, actors, CPS, children with alternative learning abilities, and other sensory alternative abilities. Generally, people seek the method, to alleviate some level of pain or inefficiency impacting the quality of their lives.

Feldenkrais is an out-of-pocket service only and the rate is due at the time of service. The rates are as follows:
- $120 for 1 hour
- $62 for 30 minutes
- $31 for 15 minutes
*An 8-pack of 1-hour visits will be offered at a discounted rate of $784 ($98 per visit)
